MEET OF CHAMPIONS (MOC)
MOC is the Sacramento Valley Meet of Champions, held Aug. 1-2 in Elk Grove. You must qualify by time to swim in this meet, or be invited by Coach Jamie.
To swim at MOC: please visit their REGISTRATION page, scroll down to “River Otters” if your swimmer is in individual events, or “River Otters (relay only)” if they are only swimming a relay. If your swimmer is swimming individual and relay events, their individual fee of $50 covers the relay.
Please note: you will only register your swimmer, coaches will place them in events.
LODGING
For those attending MOC, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elk Grove at a team discounted rate. Breakfast and Parking are complimentary. RESERVATION CUT OFF DATE: JULY 19TH
- Guests can call 916-478-9000 and mention the group rate code “ROS” for July 31, 2026 - August 2, 2026, to make their guest room reservations.
- Guests can utilize this River Otter Swim Team link to make reservations online. Select the dates that are provided.

Also for our MOC swimmers: we are so excited to once again offer Finis tech suits for boys and girls at 50% off the list price! As a reminder- their tech suits are NOT legal for 12 & under.

One last note: we do not send kids who made Top 10 in our Mid-Valley Swim League. While that is technically a way to qualify, it does not guarantee your swimmer is competitive by MOC standards, which are MUCH HIGHER than our league’s. Only swimmers who qualify by time, or are invited to participate in a relay, will be attending MOC.
