Hello River Otter Families,

It’s been a great week of morning practices and we are excited to host the Modesto Mavericks this weekend. As our season hits its stride, I wanted to check in with some information on upcoming practice dates and our pancake breakfast.

First: On Thursday, June 19, due to the federal holiday, we are not able to use the pool. Instead, we will have fun, games, and a pancake breakfast at Veterans Park (3841 Balfour Rd., Brentwood) from 8-9:30 a.m. This will be a fun morning for all ages.

Second, please note these two upcoming dates where we will practice at the pool at Freedom High School (1050 Neroly Rd. in Oakley) because the Liberty pool is closed:

Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17

On Friday, July 18, we will be back at Liberty. I know this is a hassle and confusing, be we didn’t want to lose more days of practice, especially the week of league champs. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

We are down to the last six weeks of our season and there is a lot going on! Make sure to check the calendar for events (like the Giants game and Sunshine River Rafting) and information. Our team pasta feed will be July 18. Swimmer meals are covered, but tickets for additional meals will go on sale soon. Stay posted and just keep swimming 😊
