Hello Otter families,

It’s time to talk about MOC, otherwise known as the Sacramento Valley Meet of Champions.

This year, MOC is Aug. 2-3 at the Roseville Aquatics Complex (3051 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747). To attend, swimmers must have qualified BY TIME to swim in individual events. The only exception to this: coaches may reach out to invite your swimmer to participate in a relay. Those calls will be made by 5 pm this evening.

To swim at MOC: please visit their registration page, scroll down to “River Otters” if your swimmer is in individual events, or “River Otters (relay only)” if they are only swimming a relay. If your swimmer is swimming individual and relay events, their individual fee of $40 covers the relay.

Please note: you will only register your swimmer, coaches will place them in events.

7/21 Monday Freedom 6-7pm
7/22 Tuesday Freedom 6-7pm
7/23 Wednesday Liberty 6-7pm
7/24 Thursday Liberty 6-7pm

Week 2
7/28 Monday Liberty 6-7pm
7/29 Tuesday Liberty 6-7pm
7/30 Wednesday Liberty 6-7pm
7/31 Thursday Liberty 6-7pm

Please note the first two days are at Freedom High School, the remaining days are at Liberty High School.

Other details: feel free to get a hotel room for the weekend (our block of rooms is already full, sorry!), or make the drive. There will be food trucks. Parking will be difficult, plan to walk. If we secure a team set up area, we will send out the info.

One last note: we do not send kids who made Top 10 in MVSL. While that is technically a way to qualify, it does not guarantee your swimmer is competitive by MOC standards, which are MUCH HIGHER than our league’s. Only swimmers who qualify by time, or are invited to participate in a relay, will be attending MOC. Thank you for understanding.
