Coming up this week, we have some important practice updates. Please bear with me, as we have several location and time changes for this final week of regular practice . . .

Monday, 7/13, and Tuesday, 7/14: practice as normal at Liberty High School

Wednesday, 7/15, and Thursday, 7/16: Here’s where things get tricky, and please know that we called EVERY POOL from Pittsburg to Discovery Bay before making this plan: we are splitting practices between the Discovery Bay Community Center (1601 Discovery Bay Blvd., Discovery Bay) and Delta Valley Health Club (120 Guthrie Lane, Brentwood). We realize this may be inconvenient and our hope is that many families can share driving, but we are getting small pools and cannot fit everyone at once.

Friday, 7/17: Practice at Heritage High School (101 American Ave., Brentwood) from 9-11 am. Times will be one hour later than normal (for example, if your child normally swims 9-9:45, they will swim 10-10:45 on this day).

Also Friday: our annual Pasta Feed is 5 to 7 pm at the Delta Valley Health Club basketball court (120 Guthrie Lane, Brentwood). Please park in the back right lot and enter through the basketball court doors (there will be signs).

We are excited to fuel up together before the Mid Valley Championship Meet. Food will be provided by The Olive Garden this year: pasta, salad and bread sticks, but BYO drinks. Registered swimmers eat free and additional family member meals can be purchased on our team site, $10 for adults, $6 for kids (4-12 years), under 4 years are free.

Please make sure you purchase your free swimmer ticket along with any additional tickets so we can get an accurate number for the event. Ticket sales close Wednesday 7/15 at noon.

We will also decorate car windows this evening to show our team spirit the next day at Champs. Windex and washable window markers will be provided.

We are so excited to continue this pasta feed tradition!

Finally, a ribbons update: all ribbons from our last two meets against Tracy and Ripon have been printed. They will go into the files Monday, and will be available Tuesday. If you don’t pick them up Tuesday, you will not be able to get them til our awards banquet at the end of the season (details will be coming for that ASAP).
